Christ is risen! He truly is risen!
Tomorrow is the feast of our heavenly patron, the Great Martyr and Trophybearer George. Orthodox parishes celebrate their patronal feast with great joy, but because his feast often falls during Lent or Holy Week, he tends to get shortshrifted. So, let’s do our best to honor him and ask for his holy prayers during this year of our 100th anniversary of being under his patronage!
This evening there will be a Great Vespers with litya and artoklasia at 6PM and a potluck picnic to follow. Hamburgers and hotdogs provided, so come hungry and bring some food or beverage to share!
Tomorrow will be the Orthros and Divine Liturgy at the normal times of 9 & 10AM.
