What a great Holy Week and Pascha! SO thankful to all who contributed through chanting and singing, serving, decorating, providing food, cleaning, ushering, organizing, etc.! Y’all are the best!
Khouriye and I had to split to Maryland for my beloved friend, the Priest Timothy’s funeral, and returned late last night. (Please pray for his soul and for the Barkley Family and the Parish of St. James.)
Tomorrow there will be Bright Saturday Matins and Liturgy at 9 & 10 (It was advertised as 8 & 9, so note the correction).
Sunday will be a Pan-Orthodox Walk for Missions from Annunciation to St. George- South. Be at St. George at 1PM.
Next Week is the Feast of St. George! Wednesday, 4/22 will be Great Vespers and a potluck picnic (NO FASTING!). Let’s celebrate our Patronal Feast!
