Well, Holy Week is upon us. Are you excited yet? Lots on the calendar for sure. Let’s start with the remainder of this week:

  • Tonight (Wed.) 4/1 (No fooling!)
    • 5:20PM 9th Hour and Typika
    • 6PM Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts
    • Lenten Potluck (Please stay and fellowship!)
  • Friday 4/3 (Last Day of Great Lent 2026. We did it!)
    • 6PM Lenten Dinner
      • Sponsored by the Sisterhood of SS Mary & Martha
      • Please come and support! (Liz Lia or Jackie Fadel for details)
    • 7PM Small Compline and the Canon of St. Lazarus

Then a VERY busy weekend:

  • The Saturday of Lazarus of Four Days (4/4)
    • 9:15AM Saturday Matins (shorter)
      • Children invited to read and sing in both services
    • 10AM Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom
      • Children’s Sermon
    • Light Refreshments
      • Candle decorating
      • Lazarakia baking
    • Children’s Confessions (w/ some instructions from the priest)
      • Adults welcome to confess as well
    • Church Cleanup! All hands on deck!
    • 5PM Great Vespers w/ Litya & Artoklasia
    • 6PM Catechism (ALL welcome!)
  • Great Feast of the Triumphal Entry of Christ Into Jerusalem! (Palm Sunday)
    • 9AM Festal Matins w/ Blessing of the Palms
    • 10AM Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom
      • Procession of Palms
      • Parish photo (It is the Centennial Year!)
    • Lenten Potluck (Fish and Wine allowed! And encouraged!)
    • 7PM Bridegroom Matins
