Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
This week is the Diocese of Ottawa Eastern Canada and Upstate NY’s (DOECUNY) annual Parish Life Conference, which is being held at the Holiday Inn at the Toronto International Airport. Khouriye Kelleylynn and I will be there from Thursday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. A few from the parish had made plans to attend, but all are encouraged to come up, even for a day trip. I had sent out the schedule yesterday, but for more info, you can click HERE.
Because of this week’s PLC:
- NO Compline or Bible Study on Thursday
- NO Vespers on Saturday night
- Sunday morning (4/7) will be Reader’s Matins at 9AM and Typika at 10. (no communion)
So, Sunday AM, you have three (NOT 4) options:
- (PREFERRED) Come to Toronto for the Hierarchical Liturgy. (about 1 1/2 hours from St. George)
- Attend Divine Liturgy at one of our local sister parishes in WNY
- Come to the Typika service
Skipping church is NOT a 4th option! 😉
