Hello St. George Niagara Falls parents!
My name is Mary Mellas. I’m a parishioner at St. George in Buffalo and the Social Media Manager for Ancient Faith Kids. This summer, Ancient Faith Kids is releasing a brand new church school curriculum all about the Divine Liturgy. It’s a truly wonderful resource that we can’t wait to share!
To help get the word out, I’ve asked Fr. Raphael and Kh. Kelleylynn to allow me to film a lesson in action at your church school on Sunday, June 28, 2026. This curriculum will cover an entire year’s worth of church school for ages 5-18! We are hoping to show as much variety in that age range as possible to demonstrate just how versatile the curriculum is.
The video will not be of an entire lesson, but clips edited together like a trailer. You can view the last trailer we made for a church school curriculum HERE to get an idea of what the video will look like.
It is very important to Ancient Faith Kids and to me that the identities of your children are protected as much as possible. The way I will be filming will not show kids’ faces directly, but may include the occasional side profile. I will mostly be getting footage of the backs of heads, and top-down shots of desks and hands working on the lessons. We also will not be publicly sharing any information about where the trailer was filmed.
We will have waivers to sign to ensure that the only children participating will be the ones who have permission from their parents. If you are able, RSVP to Kh.
