Glory be to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!
Just a reminder for the IOCC fundraising luncheon on October 20th, after the Divine Liturgy. This event is to raise money for the suffering people in Palestine. There are so many refugees that we need to serve. There is mass starvation and a lack of medicine and hygiene and other crucial supplies. And of course a huge number of homeless refugees.
Lou Zagami from the IOCC will be with us to tell us how our donations will be used and answer any questions. I suspect he will also tell us about Hurricane relief, which I am hoping we as a parish will also participate in.
There are two ways you can register/buy tickets:
1). There will be a table in church hall where you can purchase your ticket.
2). You can go to IOCC.org/StGeorge
When did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? When you did it to the least of these, my brethren, you did it as unto me.
