This Week (Final Week of Lent) @ St. George!

Glory be to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!

Well, just a few more days, and we will have made it through Great Lent 2025. And our reward? Another week of fasting!

In all seriousness, this is the weekend of the Great Feast of The Entrance of Christ into Jerusalem, preceded by the Saturday of the Raising of Lazarus. We get to mitigate our fasting (Fish, win and oil allowed), before we buckle down to accopmpny our Lord in His saving passion. It truly is the greatest time of the year.

Before I get into the upcoming schedule, I want to thank everyone for such a great Pan-Orthodox Lenten Vespers. Jackie and her crew prepared an outstanding spread. Thanks to Rdr. Jeff and Colin for the great chanting, and SD Shawn and Nathanel for serving. And Christian for setting up the AV (loaned to us by Justin). Just a tremendous night.
