HAENDIGES, CHARLES W. “CHUCK”
June 16, 1933 – January 11, 2026
Age 92 of the City of Tonawanda, January 11, 2026 under the care of Hospice. Former husband of the late Sylvia (nee Tonaus) Haendiges and husband of the late Maryann (nee Griffin) Haendiges, father of Michael (Hon. Deborah) Haendiges, Theresa Haendiges, Craig Haendiges and Julie (Mark) Tuskes and his loving companion Lisa Chang, grandfather of Jennifer (Jude), Natalie, Nicholas, Zachary (Whitney) and Megan (Michael) and 9 great grandchildren, son of the late Charles and Dorothy Haendiges and brother of Clifford (June)(late Lila) Haendiges and Philip (Sharon) Haendiges. Also nieces, nephews and cousins. Chuck had been employed by Al’s Super Service in the City of Tonawanda for many years. He was an active runner, writer and photographer and was also a US Marine Corps Veteran. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday January 18, 2026 from 2-6 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda. US Marine Corps Honors will take place at 6 PM following the visitation. Everyone welcome to attend.
